Well-capitalized start-up looking for a software engineer to pioneer the use of AI for automated video streaming, stats, and fight scoring in combat sports. You are expected to have a leading engineering role, ensuring we evolve the company IT architecture in a meaningful way and expand & maintain the existing systems.

You must have strong experience in Python system development on Linux with a solid grasp of network security.

Beneficial experience includes:

• PostgreSQL (RLS, extensions, database design).
• Key-value stores (Redis).
• Containerization (Docker & Docker Swarm).
• Backend infrastructure (Supabase, Celery task queue).
• Automation (Ansible).
• VPN tech (WireGuard).
• Observability (ELK stack / OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiar with Frontend (SvelteKit, TailwindCSS).

In addition it’s an added plus if you’re familiar with video streaming and content delivery:

• Video streaming protocols (HLS, RTMP, WebRTC)
• Encoding/transcoding pipelines (e.g., FFmpeg, GStreamer)
• Content delivery and storage (CDNs, S3/MinIO)
